Cocooned

by Hot Lizard Boy

The cocoon you wrapped round my skinny frame
Shields me from distractions
My arms and legs a-dangle
spread-eagle
in a pose so comfortable
It brings back memories of my mother's womb
My breath comes easy
No stress, no tension
Has wound its way through your silken threads
And the rise and fall of my chest is so even
The world could measure time by it
Snugly in silence I wonder
If tonight you will make yourself a widow
