The Goddess

by Hot Lizard Boy

You lured me with divine femininity
Your many arms beckoned me
And only me
I thought you chose me because I was a god
But this god has fallen
Neath your frenzied fury
Your dreadful delights
Once I thought sweet as honey
Now tastelass as chalk

You promised lusty adventure and musky madness
But what I thought was bells
Wrapt neatly round your waist
Is a string of skulls
Strung hap-hazard to boast
of the gods who fell before me

You bring only destruction
Woe are me and mine
How could I have been so deceived?
